Adrienne Nicole Hawkins Baksh (class of 2006) is a chemistry and Spanish double-major at Johns Hopkins University. She plans to continue on to medical school and specialize in pediatric oncology research and treatment.
Her role in the JHU Black Student Union was the inspiration for her project. During her time at Hopkins, she served at the Publicity co-chair (2002-2003) and the Community Service Chairperson (2003-2006) of the Black Student Union. She laid the groundwords for this project by studying the founding years of the BSU and looks forward to seeing what other students are going to find out and contribute in the future
