Claudette Onyelobi

 | back |

Claudette Onyelobi, a Chicago native, is now entering her junior year at the Johns Hopkins University. She is actively involved in the African Student Association (ASA), the Hopkins Organization of Pre-health Education (HOPE), and the Annual Minority Pre-health Conference. She also holds a national position in the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) and is the student coordinator to the Office of Academic Advising Student Tutoring Program.

Claudette is pursuing a Bachelor's of Arts in Africana  Studies and plans to continue her education as a medical student. She aspires to, one day, become a pediatrician. More importantly, Claudette recounts that she enjoyed working on the project and every opportunity she got to spend with Dr. Roland Thomas Smoot. She hopes that other students, undergraduate and graduate, get a chance to someday experience this project.
